O Children by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Can we just stop with the shipping wars for a moment and take time to appreciate this song and how appropriate it was for the movie and the Trio’s pending future?
It fits the theme perfectly— children fighting a war that the adults couldn’t finish and how for one moment, Harry and Hermione pretend to be kids again by laughing, goofing around and forgetting. Let’s face it, them three haven’t been children for years now (Harry has never even had a childhood) and this war doesn’t make it any better.
Plus tell me this phrase doesn’t remind you of Harry’s destiny:
“Hey little train! Wait for me! I was held in chains but now I’m free…”
